JOB TITLE: e-Marketing & Resource Development Relationship Manager

REPORTS TO: Sr. Director of Marketing & Communications
STATUS: Full-Time

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the successful development and execution of e-marketing and resource development strategies and activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops internet marketing strategies
  • Develops social media marketing strategies (Facebook, MySpace etc.)
  • Responsible for interactive features on UWNCA website (blog management)
  • Manages e-donor database
  • Responsible for communications to e-donor base
  • Manages content on the UWNCA Web site
  • Helps maintain a special events calendar on the website
  • Assists with internal, as well as external communications
  • Conducts research for marketing materials and communications as needed
  • Supports RD staff in company and region with message strategies
  • Supports message strategies for leadership giving groups (Tocqueville, WLC and YLS)
  • Writes news releases, media advisories, and media alerts under the supervision of director
  • Works with advertising firm or consultant on all campaign materials
  • Responsible for workplace campaign and NCL communications
  • Acts as National Corporate Company Campaign manager.(for local UWNCA national NCL accounts) 
  • Act as the CFC Campaign manager
  • Performs other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • BS/BA in related field is required
  • A degree in Marketing preferred
  • United Way experience, a plus
  • Membership in professional organizations, such as Public Relations Society of America a plus

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent verbal, written, communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office and Power Point
  • Capable of consistently meeting deadlines, handling multiple priorities, and being organized
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Must demonstrate initiative & professionalism
  • Must possess an extensive knowledge of integrated business systems.
  • Ability to apply analytical skills and creative problem solving to situations with successful resolution.
  • Must be able to comprehend complex situations and act accordingly.
  • Demonstrate ability to be proactive in problem resolution.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Use of excellent English for verbal and written communication to include grammar, spelling and punctuation.

INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL CONTACTS

The e-Marketing & Resource Development Relationship Manager interfaces regularly with clients, the media, officials, vendors, and employees
