How the Grant Process Works
Each year in the Spring, UWNCA opens the grant application process to our nonprofit partners that participate in our Campaign. These organizations submit grant proposals to one or more of the Community Impact Funds. Community Impact Fund Committees then review and evaluate the proposals to determine how grants will be awarded.
Questions regarding the fund and applications should be directed to the Community Impact Department 202-488-2020 or via email commimpact@uwnca.org.
Community Impact Fund Grants
As government funding for community programs decreases, local solutions to wide-ranging problems have never been more important. To help solve community problems that affect our entire region, UWNCA supports nine Community Impact Funds. Through Community Impact Funds grants, our nonprofit partners receive crucial financial support to help them address community-wide challenges and create positive, measurable outcomes.
