United Way NCA's Young Leaders are always doing something fun and interesting. Join Young Leaders for a great happy hour to network or attend a leadership breakfast where Washington, DC's leaders provide invaluable insight. Who are We?
United Way NCA's Young Leaders are a network of passionate, community minded
young professionals who want to connect with like-minded men and women, serve their community, and become leaders among their peers in philanthropic giving.
For any young professional under the age of 40, membership into Young Leaders can be secured by a gift to United Way of $1,000 annually.
Young Leaders work closely with United Way staff to identify volunteer and fundraising opportunities that resonate with the group’s interests. In addition, by affiliating with YL, members are provided with valuable networking and leadership-related events. Benefits of the Young Leaders’ Society include:
- Invitations to exclusive, members-only networking events, a leadership series and other engaged volunteer activities;
- Chance to develop leadership, marketing and networking skills;
- Opportunity to fulfill volunteer and philanthropic goals;
- And satisfaction of helping the community, connecting with leaders and philanthropic peers and being a part of long-lasting positive change in the greater Washington Region.
