Promoting Exercise and Nutrition

Proper nutrition and exercise are essential tools for both youth and adults to keep their minds sharp and their bodies healthy. United Way NCA's signature program, Fun, Fly & Fit  is quickly growing in schools and neighborhoods all across the region, reaching well over 13,000 children this year. This movement features engaging youth in fitness activities that are enjoyable (FUN) to participate in and uplift their self-image (FLY). Their caregivers receive information on the importance of physical activity, healthy eating habits, and are connected to resources that enable them to purchase healthy foods and create healthy meals (FIT).
